Reports
Residual reports contain details about your monthly revenue share based on the
difference between your buy rates and sell rates. Buy rates are the amounts you pay
Authorize.net for products and services that your merchants use. Sell rates are the
amounts that you charge merchants for the products and services they use.
If your buy rate is higher than your sell rate for a given product or service, you are
charged for the use of that product or service. In the reports, that charge appears as a
positive fee. If your buy rate is lower than the sell rate, you earn a residual amount
for the use of that product or service, and in the reports, that amount appears as a
negative fee. If your buy rate is equal to your sell rate, you earn no residuals for
that product or service.
If a merchant fails to make payment by the 15th day of the month, no residual is
paid.
